French Toast Casserole

 French Toast Casserole

8 Pieces Texas bread, crusts removed and cubed
1 - 8 oz package cream cheese, cubed
12 eggs
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
2 cups whole milk
1 pound cooked and drained sausage (I use Jimmy Dean)


Butter 9 X 13 baking dish. Place half of bread in bottom. 

Place cream cheese on top. Put rest of bread on top of that. 

Mix eggs with milk and syrup and pour over top of casserole. 

Put cooked sausage on top. Cover and put in refrigerator overnight. 

Bake uncovered in 375 oven for 45 minutes. 

Let rest for ten minutes before serving.
