Christmas Morning Frenchtoast
1 loaf french bread (26"-28" long, 2" wide-cut into 1" slices)
1 and 1/2 cups whole milk
4 large eggs
1/4 cup orange juice
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbls. Gran Marnier
1 Tbls. vanilla
(confectioners sugar for garnish)
Arrange bread in single layer in 9x13 pan.
Beat remaining ingreadients until sugar dissolves.
Pour evenly over bread. Cover. Refrigerate 1-24 hours.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
Lightly grease a jellyroll pan. Transfer bread to other pan, keeping the slices seperated.
Bake 12-15 minutes or until puffy and golden.
Dust with confectioners sugar. Serve with maple syrup.
