Stuffed French Toast

1 16oz French bread loaf -- cut into 18 slices
1 8oz pkg cream cheese -- cut into 1/4" slices
1 3oz pkg cream cheese -- cut into 1/4" slices
12 large eggs
2 cups milk
1/3 cup maple syrup
dash cinnamon

Place 9 bread slices in a single layer in bottom of a lightly greased 13x9" baking dish; top with cream cheese slices and remaining bread.

Whisk together eggs and next 3 ingred.; pour over bread. Cover and chill 8 hrs. Let stand at room temp. 30 min.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 min., shielding with foil after 20 min.
