Apple Sausage Cheddar Quiche
From The Kingsley House Bed & Breakfast
Fennville, Michigan
2 cups day old French bread torn into 1" pieces
3 links sausage precooked and sliced into 1/4" slices
1 Granny Smith apple peeled and chopped
3 eggs
1 cup milk
1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup Swiss cheese shredded
Preheat oven to 350.
Cover the bottom of an ungreased quiche dish with the bread pieces.
Add the sliced sausage and apples.
In a medium bowl whisk the eggs and milk together and pour over
the bread mixture.
Bake for 40 minutes.
Cool 10 minutes before slicing.
Makes 6 servings
