Sour Cream Belgium Waffles
Ingredients
4 eggs; separate and hold the whites***NOTE
Mix together:
3 egg yolks
3/4 cup milk or buttermilk
1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
12 ounces sour cream
Beat well, then add:
1-1/2 cups flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 tablespoon sugar
Instructions Beat mixture well. Add hot water to reach consistency.
Beat the 4 whites to stiff peaks. Fold together.
Bake and serve with whipped cream, strawberries, jam, nuts, powdered
sugar, butter, honey, yogurt, chocolate chips, or your choice of
toppings.
*NOTE: You need ONLY three egg yolks and 4 whites.
