Seafood Boiled Crawfish

Boiled Crawfish

10 lbs. Crawfish
1 Cup of Crab boil

Use a deep boiling pot with basket, 20 gallons or larger. Rinse crawfish very well, until the water runs clear.

Place crawfish in boiling basket and in pot with enough water to cover the crawfish. Remove basket of crawfish and set aside.

Add seasoning to water and bring to a boil. Place basket in boiling water. Return to a boil and boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cover and allow them to steam for about 15 minutes. Remove basket from water, drain and serve.

Potatoes quartered, and cut up corn on the cob can be added with the crawfish. The crab boil gives them both such flavor.
