BANANA SPLIT CAKE
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
3 sticks margarine (not diet)
1 (1 lb.) box powdered sugar
2 eggs
1 tea. vanilla
1 (15 1/4 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
4 to 5 bananas, sliced
1 large carton whipped topping
Chopped maraschino cherries
Chopped pecans
1 small can chocolate syrup
Mix together the crumbs and 1 stick margarine. Press onto the bottom of an 9x13 inch pan DO NOT BAKE.
Beat 2 sticks margarine, 1 box prd. sugar, 2 eggs and vanilla. Beat for 15 minutes. This is a MUST or it will not set.
Spoon this filling evenly over the crust. Then layer in this order: Drained pineapple, sliced bananas, whipped topping, cherries and nuts, drizzle chocolate over top. Cover.
Refrigerate for 24 hours.
