Chocolate Cake

2 cups flour
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 cup cocoa
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup nonfat dry milk powder
2 eggs
3/4 cup shortening or oil
1 1/2 cups water
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla

First make the cake mix: Mix together the dried ingredients. Put in a ziploc bag for when you are ready to make cake.

When you are ready to make cake, mix together the wet ingredients (the oil, water and vanilla). Add it to the dry
ingredients.

Pour into greased and floured pan(s). Bake 350 degrees for 2 9-inch rounds 25 minutes or until pick inserted in center comes out clean for 1 9x12 inch pan, 30 minutes or until pick inserted in center comes out clean.

Frost with the frosting you like.
