Coffee Angel Delight
1 package of white angel food cake mix
1 1/4 cups strong black coffee, divided
4 cups whipping cream
1/4 cup icing sugar
1 1/2 cups chopped pecans
Prepare cake according to package instructions.
When completely cool cut horizontally into 3 layers, pierce each layer several times and drizzle 1/3 cup of coffee over each layer.
Whip cream, icing sugar and remaining 1/4 cup coffee until stiff.
Assemble cake by spreading cream thickly between layers, on sides and top.
Cover sides with chopped pecans.
Decorate with any cream you may have left and top with whole pecan halves.
