Death by Chocolate

2 lb chocolate
3 c heavy cream
8 egg yolks
1/4 c raspberry liquer
1 c sugar

Melt the chocolate and cream together in the top of a double boiler. Set aside to cool. Over the same hot water, beat together egg yolks and sugar, then add liquer until it has thickened enough to 'lay back on itself momentarily'.

Fold the cooked egg mixture into the chocolate mixture and blend well. Pour into a film lined loaf pan and chill
overnight.

To serve, splash a little raspberry coulis onto a serving plate (to resemble blood) and then place a slice of death on it.
