Gelatin Poke Cake from the Joys of Gelatin Cookbook
1 Pkg. (2 layer size) white cake mix
1 pkg. (3oz) Jell-O Brand gelatin, any flavor
1 cup boiling water
1/2 cup cold water
Prepare cake batter as directed on package and pour into well greased and floured 13x9" pan.
Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. Cook cake in pan 15 minutes, then prick with fork at 1/2" intervals.
Meanwhile, dissolve gelatin in boiling water. Add cold water and carefully pour over cake. Chill 3 to 4 hours.
Garnich with whipped topping, if desired.
