Cake Lamb Mold

Lamb Mold Cake

1/2 cup shortening
3/4 cup granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 3/4 cup all purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons double acting baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup milk

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour lamb mold.

At medium speed of mixer, beat shortening with sugar until lite and fluffy; beat in eggs one at a time and beat well.

Add vanilla. Sift flour with baking powder and salt then add alternately with milk beating well after each addition.

Fill part of mold showing lamb face. Level off with spatula, cover with mold (back of lamb). Bake 1 hour.

Cool 5 minutes. Loosen with spatula. I would be sure to grease face portion very well, I use brush and am sure to
get in each crevice. Aids in removing from mold.

I then frost with white frosting and press coconut into frosting.
