Microwave Black Forest Cake
1 1/2 cups CAKE flour
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking soda
1 1/3 cup cocoa
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon vinegar (apple cider)
1/3 cup oil
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup water
1 can more fruit cherry pie filling
Mix and SIFT all dry ingredients. Slowly mix in remaining ingredients. Batter will be VERY STIFF. Spray a
mircowave bundt pan or glass bowl with a custard cup or glass in middle.
Put 3/4 cup cherry pie filling around the bowl. Add the rest of the cherry pie filling to batter and mix well. Top the
cherries with the batter and tap down to make even.
Mircorwave for 9 minutes on 50% heat.
Turn and bake an additional 4 minutes. Top may look moist but you can test it. Don't make it too dry. Cover with
towel and let sit on counter for 4 minutes. Turn out onto dish. Cool. Can serve warm with ice cream.
