Peach kuchen
2-2 1/2 c flour
1/4 c sugar
1/4 tsp salt
1 pkg yeast
1/2 c milk
1/4 c water
1/2 cup margarine
2 egg yolks
1 llb 14 oz can peaches, well drained
in a large bowl thoroughly mix 1/2 c flour, 1/4 c sugar, salt and yeast
Combine milk, water, and margarine in saucepan. Heat until very warm (120F) Gradually add to dry ingredeits and
beat 2 min at meium speed of electric mixer.
Add 2 egg yolks and 1 cup flour. Beat at higth speed 2 min. stir in enough additional flour to make a stiff batter.
Spread in a well greased 9 inch square pan. Place peaches close together in rows on to of batter. Sprinkle with topping and Let rise until almost doubled in buld ( about 1 hour). Bake 350 fro 45 min
Topping
mix 1/2 c brown sugar with 1 tsp cinnamon
