Cake Pistachio

Pistachio cake

Preheat oven to 325 or 350 degrees/see below(she didnt make this clear below)
1 pkg white cake mix
1 pkg pistachio instant pudding mix
3 eggs
3/4 cups oil
1 cup 7-up
1/2 cup chopped nuts(i use pecans)

mix ingredients in order. bake in 9" layer pans, 25-30 min. or 9x13 pan at 325 for 35 min.

insert toothpick to check for doneness.

cool cake before frosting

Frosting
1 pkg pistachio instant pudding
1 1/4 cup cold milk
20 oz carton of coolwhip for layer cake or 8 oz for sheet cake.
mix the above and frost the cake.

NOTE: i did the 9x13 pan and i did have to cook it for about 10 min longer, but ovens do vary. also there was plenty of frosting left using the 8 oz that it might also work for a layer cake i geuss it just depends on how much frosting one likes on a cake.
