Raisin Rum Cake

Cake:
1 box yellow cake mix (with pudding)
1/2 cup rum
1/3 cup almonds (chopped)
1/2 cup raisins
1/2 cup oatmeal

Topping:
1/4 cup rum
1/4 cup powdered sugar


Heat conventional oven to 350 degrees F. Follow directions for cake mix on box to prepare ingredients. Add almonds, oatmeal, raisins and rum (1/3 cup) to mix. Pour ingredients in 12-cup bundt cake pan (greased). Bake at 350 degrees F. 33-38 minutes. Remove cake from oven. Cool 10 minutes in pan. Remove cake from pan. Cool cake completely on wire rack.

With pastry brush brush 1/4 cup rum on top of cake. Sprinkle powdered sugar on top of cake.

8 to 10 servings
