Showstopper Cake by Beaston
Torte:
Mix according to pkg. directions:
1 pkg Pillsbuty Plus Devils Food Cake Mix
3 eggs
1 cup water
1/3 cup oil
Grease and flour two 8 inch round pans. Fill both equally with batter and bake at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes
Let cool and split each layer in half. Fill and frost with sour cream coconut filling.
Filling:
2 cups sour cream
1 cup sugar
2 cups coconut
3 cups cool whip
Combine gently.
Fill and frost sides of cake - garnish with a stem on marachino cherry.
