2 sticks margarine -- softened
4 tablespoons cocoa
1 cup warm water
2 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 eggs
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla

Icing:
1 stick margarine -- softened
4 tablespoons cocoa
8 tablespoons milk
1 pound confectioners' sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped pecans


Preheat oven to 400 F.

Mix margarine, cocoa and water in saucepan and bring to a boil. Cool slightly and mix in flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon until well incorporated. Beat in eggs. Add buttermilk, baking soda and vanilla. Spread on greased cookie sheet (with sides).

Bake at 400 F. for 20 minutes. Allow cake to cool while making icing.

For Icing: Mix margarine, cocoa and milk in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and add powdered sugar, vanilla and pecans; mix thoroughly. Spread on sheet cake while its still hot. Allow cake to cool before serving.
