Toll Hosue Crumb Cake
Topping -
1 Tblsp flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 Tblsp butter, softened
1/2 cup chopped nuts
1-12 oz. package "little-bits" chips (mini)
Cake -
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup butter, softened
1 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
1 cup sour cream
Topping: In a small bowl, combine flour, brown sugar and butter; mix well. Stir in nuts and 1/2 cup chips, set aside.
Cake: Preheat oven to 350. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt; set aside. In a large bowl, combine butter, sugar and vanilla extract; mix well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Gradually add flour mixture, alternately with sour cream. Fold in remaining 1-1/2 cups chips. Spread into greased 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Sprinkle topping evenly over batter. Bake 45 to 50 minutes.
Makes 24 2-inch squares.
