CHOCOLATE CHIP CHEESECAKE
2 c finely crushed chocolate sandwich cookies
1/4 c melted shortening
24 oz. cream cheese, softened
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
3 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1 c miniature chocolate chips
1 tsp flour
Mix cookie crumbs together with the melted shortening in a bowl. Pres over the bottom of a 9 inch springform pan. In a mixer bowl, beat the cream cheese until light.
Add the sweetened condensed milk gradually, beating constantly until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Combine the four with half of the chocolate chips in a bowl, mix together. Fold into the batter.
Spoon into the crust lined pan and sprinkle with the remaining chocolate chips. Bake at 350 for 55 minutes or until the center is set. Cool to room temperature. Chill until time to serve. 12 servings.
