Blueberry Cheese Coffee Cake

1 1/4 cups sugar
1/2 cup butter
2 eggs
2 1/4 cups flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup water
2 cups blueberries
1 pkg. (8 oz.) cream cheese, cubed
1 teaspoon grated lemon rind

Topping:
1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon grated lemon rind
2 tablespoons butter


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

Cream sugar and butter until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.

Combine 2 cups flour, baking powder and salt. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk and water.

Toss blueberries in remaining flour; fold into batter with cream cheese and rind. Pour into greased and floured 9x13inch baking pan.

For the topping: Combine sugar, flour and rind; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Sprinkle over batter.

Bake in a 375 degree F oven for one hour.
