Coffee Cake Cherry

Cherry Coffee Cake
(Serves: 15)

18-1/4 oz. package yellow cake mix
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 package active dry yeast (1 Tablespoon)
2/3 cup warm water (120 degrees F)
2 large eggs
21-oz. can cherry pie filling
1/3 cup butter

Glaze:
1 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
1 Tablespoon light corn syrup
1 Tablespoon water

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine 1-1/2 cups cake mix, flour, and yeast in a bowl; add lukewarm water,stirring until smooth. Stir in eggs. Spoon batter into a greased 13" x 9" x 2" pan.

Spoon pie filling evenly over batter; set aside. Cut butter into remaining cake mix with a pastry blender or fork until mixture is crumbled.

Sprinkle over pie filling. Bake for 25-30 minutes. While cake is cooling in pan on a wire rack, prepare glaze by
combining all ingredients. Drizzle glaze over cake and cut into squares.
