Skillet Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Cake:
2 cups all purpose flour
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup chopped pecans or walnuts
1 stick margarine or butter, melted
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
3 eggs
1 cup sour cream

Streusal Topping:
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 Tbs flour
2 Tbs butter or margarine cut into small pieces
1 Tbs cinnamon
(Cut butter into ingredients until coarse)

Icing:
1 1/2 cups sifted confectioners sugar
2 Tbsp milk
1/2 tsp vanilla
(Stir together until smooth )


Grease 10-in iron skillet or 9 in baking pan. Place in cold oven and preheat to 375.

In large mixing bowl, sift together flour, salt, and baking powder. Stir in pecans or nuts. In other bowl, beat margarine ( butter ) and sugar, by hand, until smooth. Mix remaining ingredients into margarine, then pour all at one time into dry mix and stir until well mixed.

Pour into heated skillet or pan and sprinkle evenly with streusal topping. Lightly swirl knife through mixture. Bake 30-35 minutes or until cake pulls away from side of pan. Let cool 15-30 minutes before drizzling with icing.
