Autumn Dump Cake
1 box spice cake mix
2 cans sliced apples, undrained (not pie filling)
1 cube margarine or butter, melted
1/2 cup chopped pecans
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Dump apples in 9 x 13" cake pan and spread evenly. Sprinkle with dry cake mix. Pour melted margarine all over dry mix. Top with chopped pecans. Bake at 375 degrees for about 40 minutes or until bubbly. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
Final Comments: The flavor of the cake mix and the fruit used can be varied. I have used yellow cake mix with peaches and also with pineapple with great results.
