Butter Cream Frosting by Eureka

1/2 C. white butter, softened (not margarine)
1/2 C. shortening, softened
1 tsp. clear vanilla flavoring
1/8 tsp. salt
1 to 2 tsp. whipping cream or more
1/2 tsp. butter flavoring, optional
1 lb powdered sugar, sifted

Beat butter and shortening until smooth and creamy.

Add vanilla flavoring, salt, whipping cream (1 tsp. at a time depending on consistency), butter flavoring and a small amount of powdered sugar.

Mix until smooth. Continue to add powdered sugar slowly while beating until all powdered sugar is used.

Continue beating until frosting is of creamy/fluffy consistency.
