Buttermilk Frosting
2 cups sugar
1 cup buttermilk
2 sticks margarine
1/2 tsp. soda (put in when removed off stove)
1 tsp. vanilla
Cook until soft ball is formed in cold water.
Buttermilk Frosting
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cube butter
1/2 tsp. soda
1 Tbsp. white syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
Cook in saucepan 5 to 6 minutes until it boils. Remove from heat and let cool before spreading.
Buttermilk Frosting
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. soda
1/2 cup butter
1 Tbsp. corn syrup
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp. vanilla
Combine ingredients; cook over low heat for 5 minutes. Then pour hot mixture over hot cake.
