Frosting: Cooked Icing by Angel

Cooked Icing

1 c. milk
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. butter
1 c. granulated sugar
1 tsp. vanilla


Heat milk, stir in flour and cook until thickened. Let cool. Beat together butter, sugar and vanilla. Add to cooled milk mixture and beat about 15 minutes or more on high speed of mixer until very light and fluffy. Ices 2-layer
