Cream Cheese Icing

1 cube butter (1/4 lb)
8 oz. cream cheese
1 lb. (3 1/2 c.) powdered sugar
dash salt
1 Tbsp. vanilla


Soften butter and cream cheese to room temperature; blend in sugar, salt and vanilla. If necessary, add small amount of milk or cream to make spreadable.
