ONE BOWL BUTTERCREAM FROSTINGS
6 Tbsp. butter, softened
2 2/3 c. powdered sugar
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
Hershey's cocoa (1/3 c. for
light flavor; 1/2 c. for
medium flavor; 3/4 c. for
dark flavor)
For rich chocolately desserts try Hershey's cocoa in recipes calling for baking chocolate. Three level tablespoons cocoa plus one tablespoon shortening or oil equals 1 square (1oz) unsweetened baking chocolate.
Cream butter in small mixer bowl. Add cocoa and powdered sugar, alternately with milk; beat to spreading consistency. Additional tablespoon milk may be needed. Blend in vanilla. Makes about 2 cups frosting.
