Chocolate Orange Pound Cake

1 cup butter
2 cups light brown soft sugar
1 cup normal white sugar
6 large eggs
3 cups all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
284 ml sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
1 packet instant pudding or chocolate orange mousse mix
1 small pack of chocolate chips


Preheat oven to 325° F.

Have all ingredients at room temperature..

Cream butter and sugar until smooth and creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating just until yellow disappears.

Combine flour, soda and salt.

Add flour mixture and sour cream, alternately, to creamed mixture, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Mix in the dry pudding mix and the chocolate chips. Stir in flavorings.

Spoon batter into a greased and floured 10 inch tube pan or 10x12 inch tin. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours or until test done.


Icing:
Melted dark chocolate (about 3 large bars)
Sifted powdered sugar approx. 5 tbs
Butter about 1 oz


Mix all the above really well and spread all over the cake.
