5-Ingredient Pound Cake
1 pound margarine
1 pound sugar
6 eggs
3 cups sifted cake flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
Cream margarine with electric beater. Add sugar and continue beating. Add the eggs, one at a time, mixing each egg in well. Add vanilla. Beat about 60 seconds more. Blend in sifted cake flour a little at a time, beating after each addition.
Bake in either a well-greased 18" angel food pan or two loaf pans, also well-greased. Bake at 350 degrees 1 1/2 hour or till done.
