Pound Cake
1 cup butter, room temp.
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
pinch of salt
Put butter, sugar, and 3 eggs in mixing bowl. Beat 15 minutes. Add remaining eggs, flour, vanilla and pinch of salt, beat 15 minutes more.
Put in a greased and floured tube pan. Bake 1 hour @ 350º. If batter seems to stiff, add 1 more egg.
