Sour Cream Pound Cake
1 cup butter,
3 cups sugar
6 large eggs,
3 cups all purpose flour
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon almond extract
Preheat oven to 325.
Grease and flour a 10" tube pan.
Have all ingredients at room temperature.
Cream butter and sugar until smooth and creamy.
Add eggs, one at a time, beating just until yellow disappears.
Combine flour, soda and salt.
Add dry ingredients and sour cream, alternately, to creamed mixture, beginning and ending with flour mixture..
Stir in flavorings.
Spoon batter into prepared pan.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours or until test done.
