Pudding Cake: Hot Chocolate Fudge Cake

Hot Chocolate Fudge Cake

1 cup flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup sugar
2 tbls cocoa
3 tbls melted margarine
250 ml cream substitute (In South Africa we use Orley whip)
1/4 cup cocoa
1/2 cup sugar
2 cups boiling water


Mix together first 4 dry ingredients Add margarine and cream substitute and add to dry ingredients to make a cake batter. Pour into a large ovenproof dish.

Mix together cocoa and sugar and sprinkle over mixture. Pour over boiling water and bake at 350 for 40 minutes. Serve with custard or ice cream.
