Butter Cream Candies

Filling:
8 oz. cream cheese
1 cup butter
2 tsp. Vanilla
2 pounds powdered sugar (2 boxes)

Coating:
2 bags (12 oz. each) semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 Tbl. Butter


Cream butter and cream cheese until smooth; add vanilla and mix well. Add powdered sugar, one box at a time, and mix thoroughly. Cover filling and refrigerate until firm enough to roll into balls (about an hour or two).

After filling is chilled, roll into small balls (or big if you want a lot of filling). Cover and put in freezer for 15 minutes, to set up.

Dip well chilled balls in melted chocolate and set on foil or wax paper lined cookie sheets (or plates or whatever you can find!)

Cover and let stand room temperature overnight, or cover and refrigerate to set chocolate.

Makes about 120 candies (more or less depending on size)

Coating – Melt chocolate chips and butter in microwave according to package directions.
