Carmel Nut Pralines

  CARAMEL NUT PRALINES 

  1c. light brown sugar 2 T. butter 
  1/2 c. white corn syrup 1c. heavy cream 
  2c. whole pecans 1 t. vanilla extract 

Boil syrup, butter, and cream stirring constantly when it starts to 
bubble. Cook until it forms a soft ball in cold water.

Remove from heat and add nut and vanilla Stir until it is fairly stiff ( to much stirring or cooking can make them turn too sugary)

Drop from tip of spoon in small piles on buttered baking sheet. When cool, wrap individually in waxed paper.
