Suckers

First:
Buy the metal sucker molds in any shape or size that you
want, and sucker sticks.

Next:
In a med. to large saucepan combine the following ingred.-
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup water

Cook on med-high heat to 300 degrees (hard crack stage), stirring occasionally.

Remove from the heat, let the mixture cool to 275 degrees, add 1/2 tsp. flavored candy oil and coloring or whitener.

note: 2-3 drops of whitener will make colors opaque, 10-20 will make it white) Pour into your molds and stamp!

A fun idea is stamping on suckers. You have to make the suckers of course, but it is fun.

Just follow the recipe on the sucker mold card. Do two batches at the same time and put liquid whitener in one instead of food coloring.

Pour the colored in all of the molds halfway full. Then put the whitened syrup on top. Let the harden for about three minutes.

While they harden get out your cake decorating paste color out and with a toothpick apply it to a makeup applicator sponge, this will be your inkpad. Then ink up your CLEAN rubber stamp.
