TAFFY

3 c sugar
1 c water
2 tbsp vinegar
1/4 c white corn syrup
1/2 tsp cream of tartar
2 tsp vanilla

Combine all of the ingredients, except the vanilla, and bring to a boil, cooking to 270. Remove from heat and add the
vanilla. Pour onto a buttered platter. Cool and pull until stiff and white. Cut into pieces.
