Casserole for a Crowd 
2 lbs. ground beef 
1 large onion, chopped 
8 ounces wide egg noodles, cooked and drained 
1 can whole kernel corn (15 1/4 oz.) 
1 can peas (15 1/4 oz) 
1 can mushroom stems and pieces (8 oz.) 
4 cups (16 oz) shredded cheddar, divided 
1 can cream of celery soup, undiluted-(10 3/4 oz) 
1 1/4 cup milk 
1 Tbs. chili powder 
1 Tbs. Worchestershire sauce 
2 tsp. salt 
1/4 tsp. pepper 
1/4 tsp. garlic powder 
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Brown beef with onion; drain. Transfer to a greased baking dish. (large). Add noodles, corn, peas, and mushrooms. Mix well. 
In a saucepan mix 2 1/2 cups of cheese, soup, milk , and seasonings.  Cook and stir over low heat till cheese melts. 
Pour over noodle mixture, mix well. Sprinkle with remaining cheese. Bake uncovered at 350º for 30 minutes
