Shepherd's Pie

1 small onion, chopped
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 pound hamburger
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups green beans, drained
1 can tomato soup, undiluted
Mounds of mashed potatoes
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Brown onion in oil, add hamburger and salt; brown lightly.
Place in 2-quart baking dish that has been sprayed with Pam.
Layer green beans, then tomato soup.
Top with mounds of mashed potatoes.
Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until potatoes are brown tipped.
