Beef Tips on Rice 
  1 pounds beef stew meat, cut into 1-inch cubes 
  1 Tbsp salt 
  2 1/2 tsp pepper 
  2 1/2 tsp dried thyme 
  7 - 10 3/4 oz condensed cream of mushroon soup, undiluted 
  2 cups water 
  2 cups chopped onion 
  1/3 cup chopped fresh parsley 
  3 - 4 lbs long grain rice, cooked 
  Combine beef, salt, pepper and thyme; mix well. Place in large roaster or 2 13x9 in baking pans. Bake uncovered at 400 degrees for 15 minutes; stir. Bake 15 minutes longer, drain.
  Combine the soup, water, onion, and parsley. Pour over beef; mix well. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until the beef is tender. Serve over cooked rice. Serves 30-35 people.
