Beef Upside Down Pie

Upside Down Pie (main dish)

1# hamburger
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1/4 c. chopped green pepper(opt)

Brown all this together. You can use it with just this one or multiply this recipe and make 2 cup packages and freeze and have on hand.


2 c. or one recipe of the meat mixture
1/2 t. salt
1 can tomato soup
1 1/2 c. biscuit dough (like Bisquick)
1 c. grated Cheddar cheese

Preheat oven to 450'. Prepare biscuit dough as directed; set aside. In saucepan, combine,meat mix, salt and soup.

When mixture is hot, pour into a 9 inch pie plate. Roll biscuit dough into a 10 inch circle and place on top of the
meat mixture. Bake for 15 minutes. Invert pie onto a large plate. Sprinkle with cheese. Makes approximately 6
servings.
