Tater Tot Casserole

1 pound lean or extra lean ground beef -- (or 1 1/2 lb.)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese -- or more
tater tots
Pat raw ground beef in the bottom of a shallow baking dish (I use a 9"x13"). Spread soup over meat. Sprinkle with cheese. Top with tater tots. Bake at 350F for 45 minutes or until tater tots are browned and everything is bubbly.
