1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup quick cooking oats
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup melted or softened butter
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped pecans
3/4 cup caramel ice cream topping
3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease an 11x8 or 9x9 inch pan.

Combine the 1 cup flour, oats, brown sugar, baking soda and salt in a bowl. Add butter and mix to combine, mixture will be crumbly. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake at 350 degrees F for 10 minutes. Remove pan from oven and sprinkle the chocolate chips and chopped nuts over the crust.

Mix the caramel ice cream topping with the 3 tablespoons of flour and drizzle over the chocolate chips. Top with the remaining oatmeal mixture and bake for 15 minutes to 20 minutes. Let bars cool before cutting into small squares.
