Congo Bars
1 1/4 stick (1/2 c +2tbs) butter, room temp
2 1/3 c brouwn sugar
3 eggs
2 1/2 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
12 oz pkg semiswt choco chips
1/2 c chopped walnuts
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Grease 10x15 inch jelly roll pan.
Beat butter with sugar in bowl until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time beating well after each addition.
Stir in flour, baking powder and salt and mix well. Fold in chips and nuts.
Turn into prepared pan, spreding evenly. Bake about 20 - 25 min. Cool and cut into bars.
