Cranberry Cheese Bars

2 c. All-purpose flour
1 1/2 c. quick-cooking or old-fashioned oats, uncooked
3/4 c. + 1 TB light brown sugar, firmly packed
1 c. butter or marg., softened
1 3/4 c. M&M's Choc. Mini Baking Bits, divided
8 oz. cream cheese
14 oz. can Sweetened condensed milk
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 ts. vanilla extract
2 tb. cornstarch
1 (16-oz.) can whole berry cranberry sauce


Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease a 13x9x2" baking pan; set aside.

In large bowl, combine flour, oats, 3/4c. of the brown sugar and butter; mix until crumbly.

Reserve 1 1/2 c. crumb mix. for topping. Stir 1/2 c. mini baking bits into remaining crumb mixture; press into prepared pan. Bake 15 min. Cool completely.

In large bowl, beat cream cheese until light and fluffy; gradually mix in condensed milk, lemon juice and vanilla until smooth. Pour evenly over crust.

In small bowl, combine remaining 1 TB brown sugar, cornstarch and cranberry sauce. Spoon over cream cheese mixture.

Stir remaining 1 1/4 c. mini baking bits into reserved crumb mixture. Sprinkle over cranberry mixture.

Bake 40 min. more. Cool at room temp.; refrigerate before cutting. Store in fridge in tightly covered container. Makes 32 bars
