Hip Padders
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup chocolate chips
3/4 cup butter
2 eggs
3/4 cup oatmeal
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 3/4 cup flour
1/2 cup nuts
Preheat to 350.
Combine milk, 2 tbsp. butter, and chocolate chips in a saucepan. Place over low heat until melted. Add vanilla to melted mixture.
Cream together the 3/4 c butter, sugar and eggs. Beat until light. Add flour and oats.
Pat 2/3 of this oat mixture into a greased 9 x 13 pan. Spread the chocolate mixture on top and sprinkle with nuts. Top with small globs of the oatmeal dough mixture - use a fork to pull it apart as it is too thick to spread out much.
Bake for 25 minutes at 350.
Best to let cool overnight before cutting.
