Homemade Candy Bar Cookies

8 oz. Waverly® brand crackers
1 cup butter
1/2 cup milk
2 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1/3 cup sugar
2/3 cup peanut butter, creamy kind
1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
1/2 cup butterscotch chips

Line a 9x13 baking pan with a single layer of Waverly crackers. Do not overlap.

In saucepan over medium-high heat melt butter. Add milk, graham cracker crumbs and both sugars. Bring mixture to a boil and boil for 5 minutes. Pour half of this mixture over crackers and spread to cover. Top with another single layer of Waverly crackers. Top and spread with remaining half of caramel mixture. Add a third and final layer of Waverly crackers.

In saucepan melt peanut butter and both types of chips. Spread evenly over crackers. Chill until firm then cut into small squares.

Note- These freeze very well.
