Peanut Butter Crispy Treats
4 c. toasted rice cereal
1 3/4 c. M&M's choc. mini baking bits
4 c. mini marshmallows
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
1/4 c. butter or marg.
1/8 ts. salt
Combine cereal and mini baking bits in lightly
greased baking pan or mixing bowl; set aside.
Melt marshmallows, peanut butter and salt in heavy saucepan over low heat, stirring occasionally until mixture is smooth. Pour melted mixture over cereal mixture, tossing lightly until thoroughly coated. Gently shape into 1 1/2" balls with buttered fingers.
Place on waxed paper; cool at room temp. until set. Store in tightly covered container. Makes about 3 doz.
Variation: Press mixture into greased 13x9x2" pan; cool completely and cut into bars.
