3/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 large pkg. butterscotch chips (2 c.)
2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1/2 c. white sugar

Mix flour, brown sugar and margarine together until crumbly. Press into a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.

Melt the remaining ingredients in a double boiler. Pour over crust. Sprinkle one 12 ounce can crushed cocktail peanuts on top. Bake for 10 minutes more. The topping won't be set and will set like a pecan pie when cooling. Cool thoroughly before cutting.
